Add this to the list of phrase that should be removed from the American Political Lexicon: "[So-in-So] is trying to wreck the American Economy". I believe the source of the aspersion this time around was Chuck Shumer (D-NY) blasting House Replublicans for not taking an up-or-down vote on a the Senate version of the so-called "Payroll Tax Holiday" extension.
Of course, what should also be banned is feigning outrage over the attack as if you'd never made the same accusation against President Obama. And don't forget the Obama Democrats made the exact same accusation against republicans during the debt deal debate.
